Binky  to leap in the air, twisting one's body while kicking the legs out; an expression of happiness

Example: "I just did an awesome binky, I hope the humans caught it on camera... no?  pffft... too slow, as usual"

Bulldoze  to push at loose earth, blanket or other soft material with forelegs, pushing it away from the body

Example: "Tut, tut... this blanket is all wrinkly, I will bulldoze it nice and flat"

Bunnyflop  to fling one's body down on the ground and roll on side or back with all four legs in the air

Example: "I am going to bunnyflop in this patch of sun; do not disturb me or take pictures, you have been warned, thank you"

Circling  to run at high speed around and in between a human's legs

Example: "Have you not learned yet what circling means?  Feed me, idiot"

Diggerate  to dig at a patch of earth, blanket, sofa, carpet or other for a period of time

Example: "Yes I understand your point of view but here's mine... this carpet needs to be diggerated"

Furminate  to have one's back and sides combed with a brush to remove loose hair when moulting

Example: "Oh I just love being furminated... yes, that's right, keep going, that feels so good... can you hear the sarcasm yet?"

Honk  to grunt softly as one runs, often chasing a companion or human; an expression of eagerness

Example: "Honk honk honk... don't stop me now I'm having such a good time... honk honk honk"

Hunker  to settle down in a comfortable position to accept grooming from a companion or a human

Example: "OK I will hunker down here but make it worth my while - I expect at least 10 minutes of grooming from you"

Loaf  a sitting position where all four legs are tucked under the body

Example: "this is a very fine loaf if I do say so myself, not one toenail is showing"

Meerkat  to stand up on one's hindlegs for a good view of the area and to request food or attention

Example: "I'm a little meerkat, short and stout... here is my handle, here is my spout... FEED ME, IDIOT!!"

Nom  to eat and/or nibble

Example: "I have nommed all my food and therefore will now nom your carpet instead"

Nose bonk   to push with one's nose at a human or object in a series of rapid nudges

Example: "Hello, hello... here's a nose bonk to welcome you home... got any food?"

Pluckerate  to have tufts of hair pulled out of one's bottom and other areas while moulting; at times slightly painful

Example: "If that human thinks it can pluckerate me, it can jolly well think again... I like my tufts and I'm keeping them"

Snoozle  to nod off to sleep with drooping head and twitching eyelids and nose

Example: "My tummy is so full and I've worked so hard to fill it... I need a snoozle in this patch of sun"

Snort  to blow out air through the nose; an expression of disgust or disapproval

Example: "snort... I'm really, really not sure about that new perfume... has she not got the message yet?"

Sphinx  similar to loaf but with forelegs extended in front of body

Example: "I think I look very cool in a sphinx and cannot work out why the humans laugh"

Truffle  to root through a food bowl or pile of hay or vegetables with one's nose, searching for the tastiest food

Example: "You may call it messy eating... I call it truffling... deal with it"
